There are many diofferent kinds od machines. Machines that can be simple, like screwdrivers, or machines can be complicated like cars. Complicated machines have hundres of parts that work together to do a job.
MAchine and energy
Just like people, machines need energy to do work. energy can some from amny sources.
Machines can be powered by people’s muscles, by electricity from batteries or generators by fossils fuels such as coal and oil, or by nuclear energy.
Force
MAchine needs energy to do work. When they are given energy, they begin to work. They change natural forces in some way. A swrewdriver changes a small force from a hand in to a large force from moving parts inside the engine into the force that drives the wheels around.
